Deep soak every 2 days in summer (daily for pots), weekly in winter. Leaf-drop in extreme August heat is normal, not death.

Large pot (50 cm+) or ground; figs fruit *better* slightly root-restricted.
🧺 Harvest
Two crops per year here (June and September). Ripe = drooping neck, soft, splitting skin. Figs do not ripen off the tree — pick only when ready.

- ◆Grows readily from a 20 cm hardwood cutting stuck in moist sand in winter.
